1. These terms

Mantra is made by Aitele Research LLP, F-109, CRS Tower, Chattarpur, New Delhi 110074, India ("we", "us"). By using Mantra you agree to these terms, to the privacy policy and to the disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What Mantra is

Mantra is a free study instrument for japa and the traditional texts around it. It counts your japa by listening, shows where the texts place each syllable in the body, guides a breath check, and computes your kundali, the pañcāṅga and today's sky. It runs in your browser, needs no account, and works without internet except for AI readings and place search.

We improve Mantra over time. Updates install themselves; we may add, change or remove features. There is no charge, and nothing in Mantra is for sale.

3. Who may use it

Anyone may use Mantra. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

4. Not advice

Mantra presents what traditional texts say, with a grade for how well each claim is sourced. It is not medical, psychological, astrological, financial or legal advice, and it does not replace a doctor or a guru. Read the disclaimer before you rely on anything in it, and never stop or change a medical treatment because of it.

5. Your data, your device

What you enter stays on your device, as the privacy policy describes. That also means we cannot recover it for you: if the browser's data is cleared or the device is lost, it is gone unless you exported a backup. Keep backups, and keep them safe — a backup file contains your kundali and practice. A PIN on a person's space keeps others on the device out of the app; it is not encryption.

6. Fair use

Please do not:

We may limit or block access from anyone who does.

7. AI readings

Man ki Baat can ask Google's Gemini to write thoughts on the reading Mantra computed. These are generated by a machine: they can be wrong, incomplete or strange, and they are not the teaching of any tradition or person. You are responsible for what you type into a question. Our server's AI connection is offered while we can afford it and may be limited or switched off at any time. If you enter your own Gemini key, it stays on your device, and you are responsible for it and for any charges Google makes.

8. Other services

Some features rely on others: Google Gemini for AI readings and Open-Meteo for place search. Their own terms apply to what they do, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other websites are for your convenience; we do not control them.

9. What is ours, what is yours

The Mantra app, this website, their code, design, illustrations, the body figure, the compiled data and the writing — including translations and summaries — are © 2026 Aitele Research LLP. You may use Mantra freely for your own practice and study, and share screenshots of it with credit. Please do not copy, sell or republish it, or use the Mantra name and logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.

The classical texts themselves belong to everyone. The open-source software and fonts inside Mantra remain under their own licences, listed on licences & credits. Your own data, recordings and notes are yours.

10. As it is

Mantra is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We work hard on its accuracy, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available. A count can miss or add a repetition in a noisy room; times and positions can differ from your local almanac by a few minutes, because methods differ. For an important event, confirm the muhūrta with your own pañcāṅga or priest.

11. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data on your device, arising from your use of Mantra. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or your rights as a consumer.

12. Stopping and changes

You can stop using Mantra at any time: erase your data in Settings and uninstall it. We may change or end Mantra, or its server features, at any time; the app on your device will keep working offline as far as it can. If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date. Using Mantra after that means you accept the change.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first — most things can be settled by a conversation. If they cannot, the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
